Kirsten Kravitz joined our practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse (Pediatrics) in 2010. Kirsten recalls as early as age 8 knowing that she wanted to work in a medical field. Participation in mission trips and having a nephew with autism sparked a particular interest in developmental and behavioral pediatrics and she has spent her career gaining expertise in those areas. After completing her undergraduate nursing degree at Anderson University in Indiana, Kirsten earned a master’s degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, always knowing she wanted to come home to Arkansas. Prior to joining our practice she worked at the Dennis Developmental Center at UAMS/Arkansas Children’s Hospital. At our clinic she treats many patients with developmental delays, autism, learning differences, ADHD and mood disorders.

Kirsten and her husband Ryan have three children. Kirsten loves travel, home schooling, books, movies and activities at New Life Church. Kirsten is a founder and serves on the board of Compass Academy (a school for children with developmental disabilities) and is an active member of the Soaring Wings Ranch Hands. As a mom she has experienced public school, private Christian school and home school, finding all three beneficial for one child or another at particular points in their lives.
