Shauna Tankersley joined our clinic in 2010 bringing a wealth of pediatric experience as a nurse (surgery and emergency room) and nurse practitioner at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. After completing her master’s degree at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Shauna worked several years as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at ACH before joining our clinic in 2014. She continues to work occasional shifts in the PICU to maintain her skills in that setting; she has now been employed by Arkansas Children's continually for 19 years. Diagnosed with Type I Diabetes at age 12, Shauna can empathize with her young patients going through challenging situations. Shauna loves the teaching aspect of her work and enjoys treating patients who have anxiety, ADHD, asthma, obesity and even warts! Her time is divided equally between our Conway and Greenbrier locations.

Shauna grew to love Conway while attending The University of Central Arkansas as an undergraduate; she could see that this would be a great place to live and raise a family. Shauna and her husband Juston have two children whose activities keep them driving all over Conway and the surrounding area. Shauna’s hobbies include travel, reading, camping and running. Her family attends Central Baptist Church in Conway.
