Dawn “Pebble” Sutherland, M.D.

Dr. Sutherland has been a part of The Children's Clinic of Conway and Greenbrier (formerly Conway Children's Clinic) since 1992. She is a graduate of Hendrix College and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The choice to enter medicine suited her interests in health, science, and teaching (in this case, teaching patients and their families); Pediatrics was a natural choice fulfilling her desire to work with children.

Dr. Sutherland and her husband David raised three children together and enjoy more free time now that their children are grown. She is a member of First United Methodist Church and helps keep the food pantry stocked for visitors from the community; for many years she taught Created by God, a human sexuality course for preteens. She previously served on the board of Milestones (formerly Faulkner County Day School) and is a regular speaker in the mentoring program for teen parents at Conway Cradle Care. She and her husband travel when possible and enjoy trips to visit their children who are scattered in nearby states.
